WAX ribbon is intended for printing on paper labels in logistics and retail. WAX-RESIN combines wax and resin for better scratch and moisture resistance. It's used on glossy paper and semi-gloss materials. RESIN ribbon contains only resin and is intended exclusively for synthetic materials (PP, PE, PET) where maximum resistance to chemicals, solvents, and high temperatures is required.

We need: the printer model, the core size and type (paper or plastic), the winding direction (IN or OUT), the media width you're printing on, and the media type (paper, plastic, textile). SATO, CAB, Datamax, and Citizen printers use IN winding. Zebra, Intermec, and Toshiba TEC use OUT winding.

A Near Edge ribbon is a WAX-RESIN ribbon designed for printers with a Near Edge thermal head (Avery, SATO). The advantages are higher print speed, a sharper printed image, and less printhead wear compared to standard flat-head ribbons on the same materials.

Ribbons are manufactured in widths matched to your printer and media. They're standardly wound on cardboard cores of 1 inch (25.4 mm) or 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) for small desktop printers. Roll length depends on the ribbon type and printer. Contact us for the exact dimensions for your model.

Yes. WAX ribbons are available in black, red (AG15), blue (AG16), and green (AG17). The AG15, AG16, and AG17 grades can also be used as wax-resin ribbons. Coding foils are available in black, white, red, blue, and other colors. Contact us with your specific requirements.

For frozen products we recommend a WAX-RESIN or RESIN ribbon depending on the label material. WAX-RESIN is sufficient if the label is on glossy paper. If the label is on a synthetic material (PP, PE), a RESIN ribbon is required, since it provides resistance to low temperatures, moisture, and condensation.

Textile tapes are nonwoven materials intended for printing sew-in labels in the textile industry. Thermal transfer technology is used to print care symbols, manufacturer information, material composition, barcodes, and logos on them. They're resistant to standard washing, dry cleaning, and stone washing.

Three groups of materials are available: nylon (polyamide) tapes: NTT23, NTT27, NTT28F, and NTT30 in white with different quality grades; polyester tapes: PTT25N (black) and PTT26 (white) with excellent printing and washing resistance; satin tapes: STT23 through STT29 with double-sided printing capability. For hot stamp: PHS21 (white) and PHS23 (black).

Nylon and polyester tapes (NTT, PTT, PHS) are available in widths from 15 to 100 mm. Satin tapes (STT) are standardly manufactured in widths from 15 to 60 mm. All tapes are wound to a length of 200 m on a 40 mm or 76 mm cardboard core.

NTT28F is a high-quality nylon (polyamide) textile tape with slow-flammability properties. It's intended for textile products where compliance with material flammability regulations is required: children's clothing, work uniforms, protective equipment, and specialty textiles with regulatory flame-resistance requirements.

Coding foils are foils that transfer color mechanically through pressure and heat using a date-coding stamp. They're used to apply the production date, best-before date, batch numbers, and LOT codes to packaging. They're compatible with standard date-coding stamps and coding machines in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.

Available grades are CFS9 Black and CFP11N Black as universal black foils for paper and PP films, CFS11 White for dark packaging, CFP12N Black for specialty materials, and CFP Red, Blue, and Color for colored applications. Standard roll lengths: 122, 183, 244, and 305 m. Custom lengths can also be made.

Pearlescent foil gives a subtle, refined sheen with depth: ideal for elegant premium labels where a discreet effect is needed. Metallic foil provides a high shine and reflectivity for striking visual effects in gold, silver, and other colors. Diffraction foils with optical effects are used for holographic and security applications.

Hot-stamping foils are applied by flat-bed stamping on machines such as Heidelberg and Grafopres, by rotary stamping on inline finishing stations of printing presses, or by manual application for small runs and special applications. The choice of method depends on the run length, dimensions, and type of product the foil is applied to.

Štamparija RP manufactures its own thermal transfer ribbons in-house. The protective polyester layer on our ribbons prevents rapid wear on the thermal transfer printhead.
