No Waiting on Outside Technicians.

Our own. The maintenance team is employed by Štamparija RP full-time: these are not outside technicians who show up on call. They are specialists who monitor machine operation every day, know the history of each machine, and spot a potential problem before it turns into downtime. We do not wait for an outside technician from abroad to figure out what is going on. Our own person already knows.

Our team handles day-to-day maintenance and most repairs: on the MPS machines, on the Gallus, and on all the finishing lines. For more complex issues or annual overhauls, we communicate directly with the manufacturers' technical support. Our technicians train with MPS, GM Converting, and others, and they talk to those companies' engineers at a technical level, with no middlemen and no time lost explaining the basics.

Yes, for the most critical components. When a part fails, instead of waiting for a shipment from abroad, which can take days, the replacement comes straight from the stock on hand. For specific parts we do not stock, we contact the manufacturer directly and arrange an urgent delivery. Every hour spent waiting for a part is an hour of machine downtime and an hour of delay on your order. That is why keeping parts in stock is an investment, not a cost.

Machine operating parameters are tracked in real time: UV curing temperature, material tension, speed, and color register. If any parameter goes outside the allowed range, the system alerts the operator and the maintenance team before the error becomes visible on the print. The problem is not caught only once an operator notices a defect on a finished label. The system flags it while it can still be corrected without wasting material.

Directly. A properly maintained machine produces a consistent print across the entire run, from batch to batch, month to month. Specifically: regular calibration of the iControl system ensures precise color register. Cleaning the anilox rollers keeps ink transfer even, since clogged cells change the intensity. Timely replacement of the UV lamps prevents under-curing, which causes smearing and ink migration.

Repeatability is the result of a controlled process, and a controlled process requires equipment that is in proper working order. Regular calibration of the color register means every separation lands in the same place from run to run. Consistent cleaning of the anilox rollers means the same ink intensity. Documented maintenance work lets us track trends. If something is drifting gradually, we catch it before it becomes visible on your label.

The maintenance team is on-site and starts working on it immediately, with no waiting for a call, an arrival, or someone getting familiar with the machine. If the repair takes longer, your order is shifted to another machine of the same or similar capacity. We have six printing lines specifically for that redundancy, which protects delivery deadlines. Scheduled maintenance work is done outside production hours: at night or on weekends.

In most cases, no. Three things protect you: our own maintenance team, which solves problems faster than an outside technician would, duplicated capacity that lets work shift to another line, and a stock of spare parts that removes the wait for a shipment. The only scenario that could cause a delay is a serious breakdown on several machines at the same time. That is an extremely rare case, precisely because preventive maintenance is carried out regularly.
