Štamparija RP holds this certification in the CAT 1 category (certificate FS-0008), meaning the entire self-adhesive label printing process complies with food safety requirements. Tactile hazard markings are raised triangles on packaging for hazardous chemical products, designed to protect blind and visually impaired persons. They are mandatory under the EU CLP regulation (EC 1272/2008, Annex II, Section 3.2) and must meet the requirements of the EN ISO 11683 standard. They are mandatory for the chemical industry, household chemicals, paints, varnishes, solvents, adhesives, and aerosol products classified as hazardous.

Frozen products require labels with a special adhesive that retains adhesion at temperatures down to -25°C. Synthetic PP or PE materials with an enhanced adhesive designed for cold, humid surfaces are recommended. Standard adhesives lose adhesion below +5°C, so choosing the right adhesive for this application is critical to the label's reliability on the product.

A multilayer peel-and-reveal label has two or three layers and up to four printed surfaces within the space of one standard label. The customer lifts the top layer, reads the information underneath, and folds it back down. For products sold in two or three markets, that extra surface holds declarations in multiple languages without enlarging the packaging or creating separate packaging variants. The EU FIC regulation (1169/2011) requires food products to be labeled in the language of the country of sale.

Yes, in most cases. Labels on chemical products are exposed to leaks, spills, and contact with the package contents. Synthetic materials (PP, PE, PET) with special adhesives resistant to solvents, oils, and chemicals are recommended. The print must be protected with UV varnish or lamination so that text and barcodes remain legible throughout the product's full lifecycle.

No-label-look is a transparent label on clear PP or PET material that visually blends with the packaging, so it looks as if the graphics were printed directly onto the package. It is most commonly used in the cosmetics industry, the beverage industry, and the premium segment of the food industry, where packaging aesthetics are key to a product's positioning on the shelf.

Vacuum-sealed and MAP packaging requires labels with an enhanced adhesive that holds on wet and greasy surfaces. The material must be resistant to condensation in refrigerated display cases. Pre-printed labels with space for thermal transfer overprinting of variable data, such as packaging date, expiration date, weight, and barcode, are often used.

The FSC™ Chain of Custody certification (BV-COC-221179) confirms that the paper we use comes from responsibly managed forests. For the food industry, retail, and brands that communicate sustainability, an FSC mark on the label is a growing requirement. Many European retail chains require FSC-certified material from their suppliers as a condition for listing products.
