A line for thermal, blank, and semi-printed labels
On the Gallus 3000 line, Štamparija RP produces labels for thermal printing: blank stock that you print yourself on a thermal or thermal transfer printer, and semi-printed labels where your brand is already printed and you only need to add the date, batch, and barcode. Swiss-made Gallus, part of the Heidelberg Group, has been a benchmark for register precision and print clarity in flexo printing of self-adhesive labels for decades.
The production date, expiration date, batch, lot, weight, price, and barcode all change from batch to batch. That's why we don't print them: you do, on a direct thermal or thermal transfer printer on your own line. The Gallus 3000 produces the base: a plain blank label or a label with your brand already printed, ready to receive variable data through your printer.
The first decision is how much the label needs to look like your brand, and how much it just needs to carry legible data. Both versions come off the same line, on the material and adhesive we select for your application.
Flexo color plus your thermal imprint
The logo, colors, fixed text, and decorative elements arrive pre-printed in flexo quality from the Gallus line. On your own printer, you add only what changes. You get the look of a branded label without investing in an expensive color printer.
No prepress, ready for your printer
A blank self-adhesive label in direct thermal or thermal transfer stock, die-cut to your dimensions and wound to match your applicator. You print all the content, text, code, and logo, yourself as needed.
The second decision is how long the print needs to last. Direct thermal printing uses no ribbon and is simpler, but the print fades over time. Thermal transfer uses a ribbon and produces a print that lasts for years. Based on your application's conditions, we recommend the right stock and, if needed, a matching ribbon from our own production.
With WAX, WAX/RESIN, or RESIN ribbon
The print is transferred from the ribbon and resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and temperature, to a degree set by the ribbon you choose. The standard for a label on a product that spends months or years in distribution, storage, or the cold chain.
The simplest and least expensive print
The heat-sensitive stock darkens under the printhead, with no ribbon and no extra consumable. The print is inexpensive and fast, but it fades over time and is sensitive to heat and light. The right choice for a short-lived label.

I fill product in batches. Each batch has a different date, expiration date, and lot number, but the label still has to look like a serious brand on the shelf.
The fixed part of the label, the logo, colors, and mandatory text, comes out printed in flexo quality from the Gallus line. A thermal transfer printer on your line then adds the date, expiration date, lot, and barcode for each batch. You get brand consistency and full control over the variable data, with no new print run from us every time the date changes.
Every package has a different weight, and therefore a different price. The label is printed at the scale and has to hold up to moisture and the cold chain in a butcher shop or deli.
Blank or pre-printed labels made for your scale model. Direct thermal printing is used for fresh products with a short shelf life, and thermal transfer for a longer life. The adhesive and stock are selected for refrigerated conditions and damp surfaces, so the label holds up after the display case, the freezer, or transport.

WAX ribbon for paper labels and moderate conditions, WAX/RESIN for a combination of paper and synthetic with better resistance, and RESIN for synthetics and the most demanding conditions, such as chemicals, scratching, and temperature.
