Thermal Transfer Ribbon · RESIN · Maximum Resistance
A RESIN ribbon of premium resistance for printing on plastic materials. The print resists chemicals, solvents, abrasion, scratching, gasoline, motor oil, and high temperatures. For PET, vinyl, polyester, and PP surfaces where the print must last under the most demanding conditions. For flat-head TT printers (Avery, Zebra, Godex, Datamax, Citizen, Toshiba).
All data per the official data sheet from manufacturer AGS Foil, Jagodina, Serbia.
AG50 is a pure RESIN ribbon for the most demanding applications. Its 4/5 chemical resistance covers gasoline, oils, acids, and solvents, where WAX-RESIN (AG31, AG34) at 2/5 does not provide sufficient protection. Heat resistance up to 300°C on polyamide is unmatched in the WAX category. A melting point of 110°C (versus 75°C for WAX-RESIN) means the print cannot smear from incidental heat. For industrial, automotive, and chemical applications on synthetic materials, AG50 is the required choice.
Labels on products and equipment exposed to aggressive chemicals. The print withstands gasoline, motor oil, bleach, antifreeze, mineral solvents, and sulfuric acid without loss of legibility.
Labels that must last for years on equipment, machinery, and installations exposed to high temperatures up to 300°C, abrasion, moisture, and UV radiation. Print durability score: 5/5.
Pharmaceutical labels on synthetic materials that must resist alcohol, disinfectants, and repeated cleaning. Labels on laboratory equipment and medical devices.
Questions about chemical resistance, temperatures, synthetic materials, and differences from the WAX-RESIN category.
Gasoline, motor oil, bleach, antifreeze, mineral solvents, sulfuric acid. Chemical resistance 4/5. Designed for the most demanding industrial applications.
Up to 300°C on polyamide. Melting point 110°C (vs. 65-75°C for WAX/WAX-RESIN). The print cannot smear from incidental heat.
Yes. Vinyl is an explicitly recommended substrate. Excellent adhesion and durability for industrial and outdoor vinyl labels.
RESIN (AG50): chemical resistance 4/5, heat resistance 300°C. WAX-RESIN (AG31/AG34): chemical resistance 2/5, melting point 75°C. RESIN is required for gasoline, oils, acids. WAX-RESIN is sufficient for standard industrial applications.
It can, but WAX or WAX-RESIN is more economical for paper. AG50 is used when resistance to chemicals, heat, or abrasion is the priority, which requires synthetic materials.
150 mm/s. Slower than WAX/WAX-RESIN (300 mm/s) because RESIN requires more energy. Sufficient speed for most industrial printers. High-speed score 4/5.
Yes. REACH-SVHC Free, RoHS/WEEE, TSCA, CONEG, California 65. Full compliance coverage.
Flat head: Zebra, Datamax, Intermec, Citizen, Sato, Avery, Novexx. Not for near-edge printers. Specify your model for the correct format.
Yes. Synthetic labels (PET, PP, PE) and RESIN ribbons from the same facility. Compatibility guaranteed. One shipment.
